In this course, I have learned a lot about myself. This course has helped me in getting more organized and in getting me to think more about the details of my papers. I learned this while in the third paper when I needed to add details to the paragraphs and when I needed to thoroughly explain a quote. I thought more about my own ideas and how I could intergrate a quote. And that is something that I never really done in any paper. I did this because I really enjoyed what we were writing about but mostly because I actually understood what I needed to do.

Using the blog throughout the semester was very helpful. It definitely helped with putting my ideas together and really thinking about what it was that that I needed to do in my paper. For example, while using the blog, I would write about what I still needed to do and it helped me in giving me ideas for my papers. It definitely helped me with the revision process for all my assignments. It helped me think that I should try to phrase so and so a different way or that I should add some more details so such sentence and most of all, it helped with keeping me organized.

When it comes to unknown or indie artist, I am not very knowledgeable. I'll admit that I am a bit ignorant when it comes to music. All I ever listen to is what plays on the radio. So with this assignment, I had a little bit of trouble coming up with an artist that I could research. So, I went to the person that I know would be perfect for helping me out with this. We talked a little bit about who I could research. He gave me a couple of names and then he stated that I should choose Muse. He told a little bit about them and then lent me an album and sent on my way. So I decided to the British group, who is also compared to Radiohead, Muse.

What is left for you to do in order to complete your paper? How do you know this? What failures do you see in the paper? What successes? How can you tell? When you are completed, visit the blogs of your group and leave them a comment. Your comment should engage or further one of the ideas they brought in their blog. Your comment may also engage something you discussed in your own blog. The idea is to learn from each other.

I actually have a couple of things that I need to get done. I am having trouble writing this paper because I really don’t have an idea of what I need to do. It is hard trying to write a paper without having a thesis in mind of what I could talk about. What I learned from class discussion was that I basically had to write down the process that I used while researching my topic, which is The Beatles. So in the paper, that is what I need to do. I need to write down where I am getting my information from and what I think about it and then I can go from there. I know this from the last class discussion when we had peer review. My classmate told me that I had to write down all those all type of information and proceed. Failures in the paper, I believe will be in what will consist of my opinion. I know I will have a hard time writing about that and some successes will be in the research involved. I will probably have enough research but not enough of my opinion. That has always been one of my weaknesses.

How do you plan on using sources differently for this essay? If your goal is to make the sources talk to each other, what sort of sources do you think you will need? Explain. When you are completed, visit the blogs of your group and leave them a comment. Your comment should engage or further one of the ideas they brought up in their blog. Your comment may also engage something you discussed in your own blog. The idea is to learn from each other.

I plan on using the sources for this paper as a way to help me guide me through this assignment. I think that I will take the sources and use them as a learning ground. I will take each source and see where each comes from and see why they stand by that point. I will take the sources and compare them and ask myself “Do I agree with this?” I will then take each source and put them away and ask myself then “What do I think? What is the conclusion that I have arrived at by using all these sources?” I think that the sources that I will need to use will be the ones that come from the artist main web page and I will go from there and see what the fans have written about the albums and songs. That way I could see what the fans think and I could definitely help me with the body and conclusion of this assignment.

How do you see yourself using the skills we learned in Paper 1 and 2 for the Exploratory Essay? Do you think rhetorical analysis or evaluation has a place for exploratory writing? Explain? When you are completed, visit the blogs of your group and leave them a comment. Your comment should engage or further one of the ideas they brought up in their blog. Your comment may also engage something you discussed in your own blog. The idea is to learn from each other.

In this paper, I see myself using the skills that I have learned and apply it to the paper. I can definitely use meta-commentary in this paper as well as an evaluation. With the use of these skills, it can help me develop my ideas and can help with the flow of the paper. Rhetorical analysis may not be a device I could use but I could use the idea of it. I mean, it could help with the way I write the paper. Doing an evaluation can help me with how I view the album and how other views it as well. It can help with the way I might arrive at the conclusion.

How do you see revision in the process of writing? If writing contains the following: inventing an idea, revising drafts, and turning in the final process; how important would you rate revision? Is it the most important aspect of writing? The least? Why? When you are completed, visits the blogs of your group and leave them a comment. Your comment should engage or further one of the ideas they brought up in their blogs. Your comment may also engage something you discussed in your own blog. The idea is to learn from each other.

Revision in the writing process, I believe that it a very important process. Revision can really help improve your writing and make your work better. With the revision, one could notice the mistakes that have been done, and could go back and change it. Even with the final draft, revisions could be made. Revisions can be use at all times.

I would rate revision very high in the scale. Revision is one of the important aspects of writing. Without revision, everything will be in total chaos.
